It was good to see a different winner but it was still a boring race.

Nascar Cup Series race under the lights on the short track in Richmond Virginia tonight! Should be fun. Wet track right now. They can use rain tires at short ovals like this, though its impossible on the bigger, high banked tracks. Richmond is old and rough, with high tire wear, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

All of the top 3 Nascar series are racing the short track at Martinsville Virginia this weekend. Tight turns, bumping and banging, wall to wall action!

My driver in the Cup Series broke a 42 race winless streak with an exciting win at Texas Motor Speedway a few moments ago! Last season was rough. He missed 7 races after a snowboarding injury.

Who was the Nascar driver who basically murdered a guy by running him over but got away with it?

"Who was the Nascar driver who basically murdered a guy by running him over but got away with it?"

I assume you mean Tony Stewart, but nothing about that statement is true. It wasn't a Nascar race. It was sprint-cars at a small local dirt track. A kid who had wrecked got mad, got out of his car, and walked into traffic. He was later found to be under the influence.

You're not even supposed to get out of the car until emergency/track personnel arrive.

He was clearly a bit mental, but the video looked very suss. Everyone managing to avoid him apart from the person who he had tangled with?

Interestingly, they didn't take any blood samples from Stewart either. The whole thing was enough for some investigative journalists to look into....

This is ancient news. You're not gonna change my mind. Besides, I like Tony Stewart. He's currently drag racing in the NHRA, along with owning a Nascar team. He had a reputation as being a hot-head during his Nascar Cup Series days, which no doubt contributes to the speculation that he intentionally hit the guy in a Sprint Car.  But I also remember when Kevin Ward Jr died. Stewart was devastated. You could see it in his eyes. He chose to miss Nascar races (which was then his fulltime job) while dealing with the trauma. On top of that, he was legally cleared of any wrong doing.
