My Youtube Channel - General Ceel - 01-17-2024
I thought I should brag a little. My youtube channel, which I co-own with Bane Nathos, just hit 4,000 subscribers!
In recent months we've also been making an effort to encourage comments/interaction from/with subscribers with the goal of building a community and we're beginning to see some positive results. Although we've been doing this for several years now, for most of that time we had comments turned off because of how rude people were. But this time around things have been a lot more positive.
I have a theory amidst all the negativity of the world, there is a growing hunger for a return to civility. We've got to turn the corner eventually, right?

UPDATE: got an email from the office of a producer on a certain little indie horror sequel produced in the UK and releasing at the end of Feb asking if we wanted to do any interviews with the creatives behind the film.
In the past we've been granted early access to a few films to review, but i feel like things are starting to happen for us just a little bit more right now. Small progress, but progress.

In another positive development for my little youtube channel, I got contacted by a producer on an indie horror film that has multiple local connections to the rural part of Pennsylvania where I live.

4,120 Subscribers. Have had a large boost in that department recently. Hopefully it keeps rolling. My goal was to reach 5,000 subs before the end of 2024. In Jan and Feb we were moving way too slow for that to be a possibility, but March has helped make up for it. At this current pace we'll get there with time to spare.
