I watched Black Panther 2 last night, worth a watch.
As a family we followed the MCU quite religiously, but like many have lost a little bit of interest post-Endgame and now are playing catchup a little bit.
I love that they've expanded the MCU and taken some risk with lesser characters, tone ect... At the same time, I think they pushed out too much content at once without enough clear build up and resolution. The Infinity Saga was a huge culmination of many years of not-very-complex build up. People got used to and came to expect that kind of story telling. They're attempting to raise the bar with the expansion of the universe, and it could still all payoff if and when it comes together in the end.... but in the meantime I think most people feel like the whole thing is adrift.
I'm 1,200 miles from Disney World. I've never been there. I've only been to Florida once actually. We flew in to catch a cruise ship like a decade ago.
I first when the Euro Disney (now Disneyland Paris) the year it opened in 1992. I was 6 years old.
I then went to Disneyland California in 2005 whilst I was over there for two weeks with three friends.
In 2008 I went to Disney World Florida for the first time at the back end of a two month trip to the US with my then girlfriend (now wife) where we flew into Boston and then out of Miami seven weeks later.
We then did Disneyland Paris three times, 2012, 2016 and 2019, each time on or close to the 3rd birthday of our three kids.
Then this year we did Disney World (plus Universal) with the whole family. It was incredible, I've already jotted down a savings plan for 2025!
Anyway, beyond my sad Disney obsession, I've just started watching Modern Family. Very, very late to the party (I usually am with these things) but seven episodes in I'm very impressed. Very amusing with a whole clutch of lovable characters.
