I ran a half marathon on the trail Saturday with a slight hangover. Took about 1:55, which isn’t a great speed, but not bad considering the terrain and physical state.
I have faith in you. There are plenty of training programs out there to help you build up to it in a few months, depending on your current physical condition.
Got back to running this week for the first time in December, only did a couple of runs just over 4km but it's a start. I've asked for running gloves for Christmas and I might treat myself to a lightweight running jacket so that I stop using the cold as an excuse to stay in.
Work are doing a "Step into 2025" initiative in January, a competition to see who can rack up the most steps in a month. The competitive side of me is determined to win it and it'll be a good incentive to get me out in a month when I traditionally do nothing.
